Job summary

Job description

Position: Science Laboratory Assistant (24-Month Contract)

Contract Duration: 1 January 2026 – 31 December 2027

Working Hours:

• Mondays to Fridays: 7:00am – 2:30pm (inclusive of a 30-minute lunch break)
• Total: 35 hours per week
• No work required on Saturdays, Sundays, and gazetted public holidays

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and cleanliness of the science laboratory
• Prepare materials, equipment, and apparatus for practical lessons and assessments
• Maintain an organized and safe laboratory environment in compliance with safety guidelines
• Assist teachers during science experiments and practical activities
• Manage inventory, monitor stock levels, and ensure timely replenishment of supplies
• Clean and store laboratory tools and equipment after use
• Carry out other related duties as assigned by the Science Head of Department or Admin Manager

Requirements

• Minimum N-Level qualification with at least 3 passes or equivalent
