A leading educational support organization in Singapore is seeking a Lab Assistant to assist in science practical sessions. Responsibilities include setting up and distributing chemicals, cleaning after sessions, and maintaining lab safety. Working Hours

• Mondays to Thursdays: 7:00am to 4:15pm, inclusive of 45-minutes lunch break
• Fridays: 7:00am to 3:45pm, inclusive of 45-minutes lunch break
• Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted Public Holidays

Key Responsibilities

• To set-up and distribute chemicals, materials and apparatuses for science daily practical sessions, internal exams, GCE ‘O’ Level Exams and other science activities.
• To clear up after every lab session by ensuring proper disposal of chemicals / materials. Wipe and clean the tables and ensure that the floor is clean.
• To check that all apparatuses are in good working condition and carry out minor repairs of apparatus and equipment when necessary.
• To maintain lab safety and provide assistance to teachers handling accidents.
• To take part in the checking of inventory stocks.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as arranged and assigned by the school.
