Job summary

The position requires a minimum of 2 years in a school science setting, a Diploma or equivalent, and preference for hydroponics gardening experience. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 2:00 PM.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant working experience in a school Science Room, laboratory, or similar educational setting.
• At least 1 year of gardening experience, specifically involving hydroponics systems, is preferred.
• Diploma or equivalent qualification is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Resource management: support procurement, organization, stock-taking, and admin upkeep of teaching materials.
• Lesson preparation: prepare materials, apparatus and equipment for Science lessons and experiments.
• Maintenance & repair: keep Science Rooms clean and perform basic repairs on lab equipment.
• Specialised system care: monitor and maintain hydroponics systems and gardening equipment.
• Event & program support: assist teachers with logistics for Science events and activities.
