Job summary

Science Centre Singapore is seeking a Science Educator to lead informal STEM programmes for students, teachers, the public and families. The role focuses on creating new educational content based on current scientific knowledge and delivering engaging experiences at the Centre.

Primary responsibilities include planning and executing projects and events that attract visitors and generate revenue, while leveraging modern science concepts and technology.

[What the role is]

Science Centre Singapore is dedicated to the promotion of interest, learning and creativity in science & technology through imaginative and enjoyable experiences. Through these experiences, the Centre also contributes to the nation's development of its human resource.

We are looking for a dynamic candidate to take up the post of Science Educator, Informal Science.

[What you will be working on]

The Science Educator (Informal Science Programmes) is responsible for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) for students, teachers, public and families that will drive visitorship and generate revenue for Science Centre Singapore. He/She will be responsible for developing new educational content based on latest research and interests in Science. He/She will also be responsible for planning and execution of projects/events in Science Centre.

[What we are looking for]

The ideal candidate should have good knowledge in Science and modern concepts in Science and Technology. The candidate must be tech savvy and willing to learn and adapt to new ways of content development and delivery. Good project management, written and oral communication skills are essential. In addition, the candidate must be adaptable, detail-oriented and a team player.
