Job summary
A local educational institution in Singapore is seeking a front desk officer to perform various duties including handling telephone inquiries and attending to students and parents. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office. Basic first-aid knowledge and prior experience in a school environment are advantageous. This role also involves assisting in administrative tasks as required.
Responsibilities
- Perform front desk duties including telephone inquiries and attending to students, parents, and walk-in customers.
- Attend to sick students and keep records of students reporting sick.
- Assist in general ad hoc administration tasks.
- Perform other duties assigned by Admin Manager/Operation Manager/Vice-Principals/Principal.
Skills
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Proficient in IT skills (Microsoft Word, MS Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint)
Basic first-aid knowledge
Relevant working experience in school
Working Hours
- Mondays to Thurs: 7:00am to 4:30pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break
- Fridays: 7:00am to 4:00pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break
- Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays
Skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient in IT skills – e.g Microsoft Word, MS Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
- Preferably have some basic first-aid knowledge
- Prior relevant working experience in school will be advantageous
Key Responsibilities

- Attend to sick students, issue early release forms for students going home early and keep records of students reporting sick
- Assist in general ad hoc administration
- Any other hoc duties assigned by Admin Manager/Operation Manager/Vice-Principals/Principal
