Overview

Admiralty Secondary School

Contract Period: 1 January 2026 – 31 December 2026

Working Hours

Monday – Thursday: 7:30am – 5:00pm (inclusive of 60-minute lunch break)

Friday: 7:30am – 4:30pm (inclusive of 60-minute lunch break)

No service required on Saturdays, Sundays, or gazetted public holidays

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative & Communication Support
    • Manage parents and students on discipline-related matters such as late-coming, absenteeism, and behavioural issues
    • Prepare and maintain discipline-related data and reports for HOD / Student Management (e.g. late-coming and attendance records)
    • Maintain proper documentation and records in accordance with school procedures
  • On-Ground Discipline & Safety Support
    • Perform on-site duties including: Canteen supervision, Detention duty, Patrolling within school premises
  • Manage students placed on detention or in-house suspension
    • Ensure compliance with school rules
    • Ensure students are meaningfully engaged in assigned tasks
  • Event & General School Support
    • Assist in maintaining order and discipline during school events and activities
    • Carry out simple administrative or operational tasks assigned by: Principal, Vice-Principals, Key School Personnel
Skills & Experience Requirements
  • Preferred Experience
    • Experience working in a secondary school environment
    • Background in law enforcement agencies (e.g. SPF, CNB)
    • Experience in student management, discipline, safety, or similar roles
Core Competencies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially when engaging students and parents
  • Ability to manage discipline matters firmly yet sensitively
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word documents and Spreadsheets (Excel)
  • Responsible, calm, and able to handle student-related incidents professionally
