Job summary

Working time: 8am to 2.30pm ( Mon to Fri)- 6hrs per day

Location : Cantonment

Contract : 10 months

Key Responsibilities

Laboratory Preparation and Support

• Prepare, label, and arrange materials, reagents, and equipment for science lessons and experiments.

• Set up laboratory apparatus and ensure all materials are ready before each lesson.

Safety and Maintenance

• Ensure laboratories comply with safety regulations and guidelines.

• Maintain chemical inventories, proper labelling, and Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).

Inventory and Record Management

• Maintain accurate records of chemical and equipment usage.

Administrative and Logistical Support

• Assist Science Teachers or Heads of Department (HOD Science) in preparing practical schedules and resource lists.

Qualifications

• MinimumNITEC / Higher NITEC / Diplomain Applied Science, Chemical Process Technology, Laboratory Technology, Biotechnology, or related fields.

• Relevant experience working in a school or educational laboratory environment is preferred.

• Good knowledge of laboratory practices, safety procedures, and risk management.
