Job summary

A leading educational support firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced individual for laboratory management and administrative support in a school environment. The role involves maintaining laboratory equipment, supporting teachers, and handling administrative tasks. Candidates should have at least 3 years of relevant experience and effective communication skills. This position offers a structured working schedule from Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a school environment.
  • Hands-on experience in preparing and maintaining Science laboratory equipment.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain teaching resources in Science Rooms.
  • Assist teachers with low-progress learners during laboratory activities.
  • Handle basic administrative tasks related to Science resources.

Job description
Work Arrangement
  • Contract Duration: 1-Year Contract
  • Working Hours: Mondays to Fridays, 8:00AM – 1:30PM (excluding 1-hour lunch break)
Key Responsibilities
Laboratory & Resource Management
  • Prepare, organize, and maintain teaching and learning resources and equipment in the Science Rooms.
  • Ensure laboratory apparatus and materials are in good working condition.
  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and orderliness in all Science Rooms.
Learning Support
  • Provide assistance to teachers in supporting low-progress learners and absentees during Science laboratory activities when required.
Administrative Support
  • Assist with basic administrative tasks and record-keeping related to Science programmes and resources.
Job Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience working in a school environment.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience in preparing and maintaining Science laboratory equipment and materials.
  • Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Able to communicate effectively in English (spoken and written).
  • Responsible, organized, and able to work independently.
  • Preferably candidates who stay around the area.
