Job summary

A local staffing agency in Singapore is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to assist teachers with cooking lessons. Job description

Job Scope

• Assist teachers in the preparation of ingredients/ kitchen equipment for students’ cooking lessons/ workshops during curriculum hours/ within stipulated working hours.
• Perform general cleaning and maintenance of the kitchen equipment and the workplace.
• Perform proper stock-taking of all perishable ingredients and equipment and update teachers of low stock.
• Perform checks on kitchen equipment and electrical appliances to ensure that they are in good working order.
• Assist teachers in growing and maintaining the spice garden.
• Any other duties assigned by the Authority.

Requirements

• Must have a minimum PSLE certificate or equivalent.
• Able to converse and communicate well
• Preferably have 1 year of experience as a kitchen assistant or a similar role in performing kitchen operation and cleaning functions.

Working Hours

Mon-Thurs: 7am to 4.30pm, Fri: 7am to 4pm

Contract Period

02 Jan 2026 to 31 Dec 2026 (Option to extend to 31 Dec 2027)
