Job summary

Job description

Job Scope

• The general maintenance of selected garden plots, including soil cultivation, fertilising, digging, mulching, watering, raking, weeding, edging, pruning, grass cutting, bed preparation, application of chemicals, planting and harvesting; and
• The upkeep and maintenance of gardening tools, equipment and supplies in the gardening sheds; and
• Any other gardening related duties as assigned by the school.

Requirements

• Must have at least three years’ experience in gardening in a school environment
• Proficient in transplanting, growing and maintaining a large variety of plants, e.g. ferns, herbaceous plants, small trees
• Responsible in carrying out duties and able to work effectively with school staff

Working Hours

Mondays to Fridays: 7.30am to 11.30am

Contract Period

1 Jan 2026 to 31 Dec 2026 (Option to extend to 31 Dec 2027)
