Job summary

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP TM Developer with strong technical expertise in Transportation Management (TM) processes, development, and integration with external systems using SAP Integration Suite (CPI).

The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience in SAP TM objects, PPF actions, BOPF framework, Freight Orders, and interface development, while adhering to SAP Clean Core principles.

Key Responsibilities

SAP TM Development

• Design, develop, and maintain SAP TM components such as:
  • Freight Orders / Freight Units
  • Transportation Cockpit Enhancements
  • Charge Management
  • Planning & Execution Objects
  • PPF Actions and Rules

Integration & Interface Development

• Develop, enhance, and troubleshoot integrations between SAP TM and external systems via SAP Integration Suite (CPI).
• Build and support API‑based integration scenarios including:
  • TM OData APIs
  • TM SOAP Services
  • Custom Interfaces via CPI or IDocs

Technical Implementation

• Perform technical development using:
  • ABAP for TM‑specific enhancements
  • BOPF extensions
  • PPF configuration and output controls
  • Custom logic for TM business objects
• Ensure all enhancements follow SAP Clean Core methodology, leveraging whitelisted APIs and standard extensibility frameworks.

Documentation & Collaboration

• Prepare detailed technical design documents, mapping sheets, and integration specifications.
• Collaborate with functional, S/4HANA, and CPI teams for:
  • Interface onboarding
  • Monitoring
  • Lifecycle management
• Provide technical guidance and code reviews to ensure best practices and reusability.

Required Skills & Expertise

Strong hands‑on experience in SAP Transportation Management (TM).
Proficiency in ABAP, BOPF, PPF configuration, and enhancement frameworks.
Experience with SAP Integration Suite (CPI) for system integration.
Knowledge of TM OData APIs, SOAP, and IDoc integrations.
Strong understanding of SAP Clean Core and extensibility concepts.
Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• SAP TM certification is an advantage.
