1. 8:45am to 17:15pm (including 1hour lunch break) or such hours as the Employee deems necessary, Monday to Friday exclude Singapore Public Holiday.

2. Off in Lieu provided for ad-hoc night shift or PH/Weekend shift.

[Expected Job Scope]
  • The individual is expected to be responsible for gathering and defining requirements related to functional improvement requests in the SAP FI (Financial Accounting), PI (Payment Instruction), and SDMM (Sales and Purchasing Management) domains. Demonstrate advanced communication skills to capture user requirements in English and effectively communicate them in Japanese to relevant stakeholders, including clients and internal teams.
  • The individual also requires flexible thinking and technical expertise to propose IT solutions other than SAP module customization, development such as RPA tool. The proposed solutions must be clearly and structurally documented to ensure easy understanding by all stakeholders.
  • The individual is expected to take on the role of Project Manager for SAP module development, manage the cost, schedule, and issue while working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • The individual is expected to be responsible for setting up meetings as needed and facilitating discussions to drive progress.
  • The individual is expected to have a strong understanding of accounting and finance operations and to assess both the quantitative and qualitative impacts of IT tool implementations based on user interviews. They will also be responsible for compiling their findings into clear, easy-to-understand reports for stakeholders.
  • The individual is expected to investigate SAP usage metrics—such as the number of payment transactions, contract and realization records, and accounting document line items—and compile the findings into clear, easy-to-understand reports for stakeholders.
  • The job scope is expected to involve handling of confidential data. The individual is expected to comply with all security policies, and data governance guidelines set by MKI customers.
  • The individual is expected to investigate issues that impact users’ daily operations, identify root causes, and elevate matters to Japanese‑speaking IT vendors to ensure timely and smooth resolution.
  • Accurately and clearly convey IT‑related requirements received in English into Japanese, ensuring precise understanding and avoiding miscommunication in the context of IT projects.
  • Prepare professional documentation in Japanese, delivering presentations in Japanese, and handle Q&A sessions in Japanese related to the presented contents.
[Necessary IT Skill and Experience]
  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
  • Over 5 years of experience in IT/SAP project management, IT/SAP consulting, or a related field. This role also requires experience in conducting or facilitating face-to-face meetings and communications with clients and users.
  • Must have basic IT skills such as how RPA tool works, how to utilize collaboration tools eg. Teams, SharePoint and how to design / extract database.
  • Good understanding of common business processes such as accounting, purchasing, sales, etc.
  • Work closely with business operations to convert requirements into system solutions and collaborate with team members to ensure delivery of highly scalable and available systems.
  • Strong communication skills in English and Japanese to engage with end-users and stakeholders, including senior management, eg. Hands‑on experience in requirements gathering and system design - must be able to lead workshops and translate business needs into technical specifications.
  • Must know how to document all work, including creating discussion papers and proposals about system architecture, business models, process flowcharts, data dictionaries, ER diagrams, data mapping worksheets with Power Point, Excel, Word.
  • Over 5 years of working experience in independent position, able to facilitate and accelerate SAP/IT project with clients and stakeholders with minimum supervision or guidance.
  • Experienced with Microsoft Office Tools including Excel and Power Point to generate status updates, other forms of communication and documentation for various stakeholders from business users to management.
  • Ability to analyze existing tools and databases used by customers and provide solution recommendations.
  • Possess interest in user business and emerging technologies such as AI.
  • Strong multitasking and time management skills in an enterprise environment, with a focus on punctuality.

  • Japanese language proficiency is required due to the nature of the role involving frequent communication with Japanese-speaking stakeholders and vendors.
