SAP CO Consultant - ECC to S / 4HANA RISE Upgrade (Material Ledger Expertise)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP FICO Consultant with strong expertise in ECC to S / 4HANA RISE upgrade projects. The ideal candidate must possess hands‑on experience with Material Ledger configuration and migration, a key differentiator for this role. This is a client‑facing position, requiring excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute SAP ECC to S / 4HANA RISE upgrade projects, with specific focus on Finance and Controlling (FICO) modules.
• Manage and implement Material Ledger setup, activation, and reconciliation during S / 4 transformation.
• Perform system assessments, gap analysis, and solution design for FICO processes during the transition from ECC to S / 4.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (MM, PP, SD, CO-PA) to ensure seamless integration and consistency of financial data.
• Work closely with business users to gather requirements, define functional specifications, and validate system configurations.
• Support end‑to‑end testing, data migration, cutover, and post‑go‑live stabilization.
• Provide expert guidance on best practices, optimization, and simplification features in S / 4HANA Finance.
• Conduct client workshops and deliver presentations to key stakeholders.

Mandatory Requirements

• 10 years of total SAP FI / CO experience.
• SAP ECC to S / 4HANA RISE upgrade experience (minimum one full‑cycle project).
• Strong Material Ledger (ML) configuration and implementation expertise.
• Core FICO modules proficiency: GL, AP, AR, AA, CO-CCA, PCA, and Product Costing.
• Excellent understanding of S / 4HANA Finance innovations (e.g., Universal Journal, New Asset Accounting).
• Proven client‑facing and stakeholder management experience.
