In this hands-on role, you will manage the reporting team to deliver BI and Analytics solutions, oversee SAP BOBJ administration, and develop integrations. Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP BI & Data Engineer to co‑lead and manage our reporting team, ensuring the successful delivery of Business Intelligence and Analytics solutions. This is a hands‑on operational role suited for a proactive, detail‑oriented individual who thrives in dynamic environments and is willing to work flexible or extended hours to meet critical program outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide mentorship and support to the reporting team, ensuring high‑quality BI & Analytics delivery.
• Oversee the development, deployment, and maintenance of reports using the SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ) suite.
• Manage BOBJ administration including user access, security, folder grouping, and authorization.
• Develop REST API integrations to enable seamless data exchange between BOBJ and external systems.
• Lead the creation of HANA ABAP CDS views, ABAP RAP services, and SEGW Fiori Gateway services.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Design and develop Web Intelligence (WebI) reports and dashboards to support data‑driven decision‑making.
• Perform Analytics CDS data modelling and implement CDS authorization concepts for secure reporting.
• Customize WebI report layouts to enhance user experience and accessibility.
• Act as secondary incident manager for reporting issues, ensuring timely resolution and escalation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Around 5 years’ experience in SAP BOBJ BO/BI, WebI, ABAP CDS, and Analytics Data Modelling.
• Hands‑on experience with REST API programming and SAP system integrations.
• Proven ability to work in an operational role with a focus on system availability and performance.
• Self‑starter with leadership capabilities and the ability to work independently.
• Willingness to work extended hours when necessary to meet program deadlines.
• Excellent problem‑solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
