Job summary

IBM SERVICES TALENT DELIVERY PTE. LTD. seeks an SAP BTP Expert to design secure, scalable solutions on SAP Business Technology Platform. You will guide cloud architecture across development, integration, data, analytics and automation while aligning with Clean Core principles.

You will lead architecture reviews, mentor teams, and shape project proposals, roadmaps and executive-level presentations to translate BTP capabilities into measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience designing SAP BTP architectures.
• Experience with SAP Build, Fiori/UI5.
• Experience in SAP Integration Suite and API-driven integrations.

Responsibilities

• Define SAP BTP Architecture: assess requirements, select services and define reusable patterns.
• Drive Clean Core Extensibility for SAP S/4HANA extensions.
• Lead application development with CAP, UI5 and HANA Cloud.
• Deliver enterprise integrations using SAP Integration Suite.
• Enable data, analytics and AI leveraging SAP Datasphere, Analytics Cloud and SAP AI services.
• Establish security, governance, and cost controls.
• Manage DevOps and lifecycle practices (CI/CD, testing, logging).
• Provide technical leadership and delivery assurance.
• Support client innovation through discovery workshops and solution proposals.

Job description

As an SAP BTP Expert, you will design and deliver secure, scalable and upgrade-resilient solutions on SAP Business Technology Platform. You will serve as a trusted advisor to clients and delivery teams, shaping cloud architecture across application development, integration, data, analytics, automation and AI while ensuring alignment with SAP Clean Core principles and enterprise governance standards.

• Define SAP BTP Architecture: Assess business and technical requirements, establish target-state architecture, select appropriate BTP services and define reusable design patterns across SAP and non-SAP landscapes.
• Drive Clean Core Extensibility: Design side-by-side and in-app extension strategies for SAP S/4HANA, using released APIs, events and approved extensibility patterns to minimize core modifications and improve upgrade readiness.
• Lead Application Development: Architect and guide cloud-native solutions using SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP), SAP Build, SAP Fiori/UI5, SAP HANA Cloud and, where appropriate, Kyma runtime.
• Deliver Enterprise Integration: Design and govern integrations using SAP Integration Suite capabilities such as Cloud Integration, API Management and Event Mesh, including reusable APIs, event-driven integration and monitoring standards.
• Enable Data, Analytics and AI: Shape solutions involving SAP HANA Cloud, SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP AI services, Joule and Document Information Extraction where relevant to the business use case.
• Establish Security and Governance: Define account and subaccount structures, entitlements, connectivity, identity and access controls, transport, observability, resilience and cost-governance practices.
• Manage Application Lifecycle: Set up DevOps and application lifecycle practices using SAP Cloud ALM, CI/CD pipelines, transport management, automated testing, logging, alerting and operational handover.
• Provide Technical Leadership: Lead architecture reviews, design workshops, proof-of-concepts and delivery assurance; mentor technical teams and resolve complex cross-platform issues.
• Support Client Innovation: Contribute to discovery workshops, demonstrations, solution proposals, estimates, roadmaps and executive-level presentations that translate BTP capabilities into measurable business outcomes.
