Job summary

Soon Xing Engineering is seeking skilled workers for surface preparation, sandblasting and painting across metal and non-metal surfaces in Singapore. The role involves manual abrasion, equipment operation, and achieving specified finishes with coatings and paints.

Candidates should be familiar with sandblasting bays, air- operated controls, and the handling of lead paint removal procedures compliant with EPA standards. Working hours are standard weekdays with potential Saturday shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience with sandblasting and paint preparation.
• Ability to prepare sandblasting bays and operate equipment.
• EPA approved lead paint removal certification.

Responsibilities

• Manually abrades surfaces of metal or hard composition to remove scale, grease, tar, rust and dirt, and impart specified finish.
• Paint surfaces with coatings using brushes, spray guns and rollers.
• Operate sand blast equipment to achieve anchor profiles.
• Prepare sandblasting bays, chambers, portable units, booths or open areas and operate controls to blast a variety of metal and non metal surfaces.
• Frame machine operation and heavy body repair in fleet painting.

Job description

Manually abrades surfaces of metal or hard composition jectsto remove adhering scale, grease, tar, rust, and dirt, and to impart specifiedfinish, while using sandblasting equipment

Paint surfaces with coatings, paints, , using brushes , sprayguns and rollers

Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) approved lead paint removalcertification

Operation and maintenance of sand blast equipment to achievevarious anchor profiles

Paint surfaces with coatings, paints, using brushes , spray gunsand rollers to the appropriate MIL-STD

Operate hand sanding machines

Completing heavy body repair

Frame machine operation

Commercial/fleet painting

Prepare sandblasting bays, chambers, portable units ,booths oropen areas and operating controls to blast a variety of metal and non metal surfaces

Requirements

Working Hour : 7:30 - 5 pm (Monday – Friday )

: 7:30am – 1pm (Saturday)
