About the role

Join the dynamic sales team atUTOP Paints (Singapore) PTE. LTDas aSales Traineein our Marine and Industrial Coating Division. This full-time position with commission-based incentives is designed for young talents who are eager to build a rewarding career in technical sales. You’ll receive comprehensive training and mentorship while gaining hands-on experience in B2B sales across the maritime and industrial coating industry. After the training, you'll play a crucial part in expanding our client base and market share.

What you'll be doing

• Learn to identify and approach new clients in the marine and industrial coating markets
• Participate in client meetings and product presentations with senior sales staff
• Understand customer needs and help prepare customized product recommendations
• Assist in drafting sales quotations and basic contract terms
• Maintain communication with customers and collaborate cross-functionally with the marketing, technical, and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery of products and services
• Support the creation of sales reports and pipeline tracking
• Receive product and technical training from our coating experts
• Contribute to the development of sales strategies and initiatives to achieve ambitious growth targets

What we're looking for

• Minimum O Level education and A diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Chemistry, Maritime or related field will be advantage
• No prior experience required — fresh graduates and career switchers are welcome
• Strong willingness to learn and develop a career in industrial B2B sales
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Responsible, self-motivated, and persistent
• Able to speak and write in English, and able to speak Mandarin will be an advantage (to liaise with Chinese-speaking clients)
• Possessing Class 3 Driving License and own transport is a plus
