Job summary

A logistics company in Singapore is seeking an individual for freight forwarding duties, requiring strong communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset. The ideal candidate will manage relationships with customers and ensure smooth logistics operations. At least 1 year of experience in the sector is needed. This role offers a Monday to Friday work schedule from 9am to 6pm.

• Quote and secure new business from customers.
• Liaise with customers on shipment instructions.
• Resolve problems that arise during shipments.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Quote and secure new business (from new customers or increased share from existing customers)
• Liaise with customers on air/sea import/export shipment instructions
• Coordinate with internal CS/Ops teams and vendors to execute shipments
• Resolve problems when they crop up (rare but sometimes will happen at night / weekends)
• Build and maintain key customer relationships and gather market information
