Job summary

A financial services firm in Singapore is seeking a candidate to collaborate with Relationship Managers in facilitating account onboarding and conducting thorough compliance checks. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Accountancy or related fields, have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and be proficient in Microsoft Office. This role includes engaging with clients, maintaining documentation, and supporting marketing initiatives in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

  • Relevant knowledge and experience in securities, derivatives, and private banking are advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Adaptability to feedback and a commitment to continuous learning.
  • Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and manage pressure.
  • Must pass relevant CMFAS exams.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Relationship Managers to facilitate onboarding of new accounts.
  • Conduct thorough Account Opening checks, including KYC, AML, and customer Due Diligence.
  • Coordinate with teams for effective service and resolution of client issues.
  • Engage directly with clients to ensure trading platforms functionality.
  • Support Relationship Managers in marketing initiatives.
  • Maintain documentation in compliance with standards.
  • Prepare monthly business and marketing reports.
  • Assist in process reviews to enhance efficiency.
  • Participate in events to foster client relationships.
  • Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned.

  • Coordinate with Front, Middle, and Back Office teams to ensure effective pre and post-sales service and prompt resolution of client issues.
  • Engage directly with clients to ensure complete functionality and setup of trading platforms.
  • Support Relationship Managers in implementing marketing initiatives and plans.
  • Maintain necessary documentation in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Prepare monthly business and marketing reports.
  • Assist in process reviews and re-engineering to enhance internal controls and efficiency.
  • Participate in events and conferences to foster client relationships.
  • Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by the team lead.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • Relevant knowledge and experience in securities, derivatives, and private banking are advantageous.
