Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet company targets in packaging products/services.
- Identify and engage potential customers through proactive outreach and networking.
- Build and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.
- Lead, support, and motivate the sales team to meet individual and team objectives.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of sale in alignment with company policies.
- Prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports to management.
- Attend industry events, tradeshows, and client meetings as needed.
Education and Work Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Packaging Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in the packaging industry (e.g., flexible, rigid, corrugated, or labels).
- Strong understanding of packaging materials, converting processes, and current sustainability trends.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to lead a team and work independently to achieve targets.
- Track record of driving sales growth and successfully managing client relationships.
- Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Willingness to travel for client visits, industry events, and trade shows as required.
Sales Specialist (Hybrid, Singapore) - Singapore Tech Startup Responsibilities
- Drive B2B partnerships with fitness studios, wellness brands, and corporate partners.
- Manage the full sales cycle — from prospecting and outreach to negotiation and deal closure.
- Build long‑term relationships that grow with client’s vendor and customer ecosystem.
- Identify opportunities to cross‑sell and co‑market with strategic partners.
- Manage leads and pipelines using HubSpot.
- Work closely with the marketing team on campaign activations and conversion funnels.
- Represent the company at events, expos, and partner meetings.
- Report and track performance metrics, insights, and forecasts.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in sales, partnerships, or business development.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills — both written and verbal.
- Confidence in lead generation, outbound outreach, and relationship management.
- Experience with HubSpot or CRM systems.
- Excellent interpersonal skills — you build trust fast and maintain it.
Nice to Have
