Job summary

A leading HR advisory firm in Singapore is seeking a Sales Promoter for a 1-year contract. The role involves understanding customer needs, promoting FMCG/OTC products, and setting up engaging displays. Candidates should have retail experience and a passion for sales. The salary is competitive with incentives, offering potential earnings between $2,400 and $2,500. This position requires strong communication skills and a proactive approach to customer engagement.

Qualifications

  • Experience in promoting FMCG/OTC products in chain pharmacies and departmental stores.
  • Retailer experience is a plus for merchandising and inventory management.
  • Preferable with experience in retail.

Responsibilities

  • Listening and understanding customer needs.
  • Building product knowledge and delivering it engagingly.
  • Setting up product displays and promotional booths.
  • Delivering presentations and demonstrations.
  • Distributing samples and providing feedback.
  • Following up with customers and guiding product selection.
  • Meeting daily targets and submitting sales reports.

Position title: Sales Promoter (1 yr contract)
Location: Little India
Working days: 6 days per week, 1 weekday off
Working hours: 1pm – 10pm (1 hr meal break)
Salary : $1,500 basic + Incentive $400 + Commission (0.5 to 5%) = Gross possible up to $2400-2500

Job Responsibilities
  • Listening and understanding customers’ needs, assist them to find the perfect product for their needs.
  • Constantly building product knowledge and delivering this knowledge in engaging ways.
  • Setting up attractive product displays and promotional booths.
  • Delivering presentations and demonstrations to customers and other stakeholders.
  • Distributing samples and providing feedback for improvement to the management team.
  • Following up with customers and providing guidance on product selection.
  • Meeting daily targets and submitting sales reports.
  • Networking with relevant stakeholders.
  • Searching for new business opportunities.
Requirements
  • Experience in promoting FMCG/OTC products in chain pharmacies and departmental stores.
  • Retailer experience, will be a plus as well – this is for our merchandising and inventory management requirement, which is part and parcel of a promoter role as well.
  • Preferable with experience in retail.
