Sales & Project Manager [Semicon Equipment | Up to $6k + AWS + VB]
Job Summary: An exciting opportunity to drive business development of automation equipment programs and solutions for the optoelectronics, semiconductor IDM & OSAT, and consumer electronic/device market segments.
Responsibilities:
- Drive business development of automation equipment programs & solutions for the optoelectronics, semiconductor IDM & OSAT, and consumer electronic/device market segments.
- Lead a team of design engineers, project & product engineers, and site engineers to achieve customer fulfillment, satisfaction, quality, and cost goals.
- Develop and implement a sales strategy plan for business expansion and penetration into target market segments.
- Pursue and evaluate potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials.
- Build and maintain a quality pipeline of prospects worth at least 5-10 times the yearly set targets.
- Manage the RFQ process, from obtaining the BOM to proposing a quotation for management review and timely submission to customers.
- Close new business deals by coordinating requirements, developing and negotiating contracts, and integrating contract requirements with business operations.
- Identify diversification business opportunities and expand customer bases.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers and provide excellent customer satisfaction while updating and influencing senior management.
- Coordinate activities of various interest groups to deliver customer satisfaction and timely deliveries.
- Provide weekly sales pipeline updates and bi-weekly sales projections & forecasts.
- Manage SAP sales order entries for won projects, ensuring timely invoicing and payments from customers.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of sales experience servicing the optoelectronics, semiconductor IDM & OSAT, and consumer electronic/device manufacturing industries (not electronic component sales).
- Possess knowledge or past experiences in industrial automation, robotics, vision systems, IIoT, assembly, automation technology, and test process automation solutions.
- Proficient user of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Regional traveling is expected.
- Past technical service or sales experience in semiconductor companies is an added advantage.
