Job summary

A leading recruitment firm in Singapore seeks a dedicated sales professional to build relationships with stores and manage product displays effectively in the supermarket FMCG sector. The ideal candidate will have sales experience, good communication skills, and a drive to succeed. This role includes responsibilities such as managing inventory and monitoring competitor pricing.

Qualifications

  • At least 1 to 2 years of related working experience.

Responsibilities

  • Build good working relationship and secure orders from stores.
  • Communicate with key store personnel on ordering and replenishment.
  • Execute merchandising, display, and promotion plans.
  • Ensure P.O.S. materials are well displayed.
  • Initiative to improve planogram and increase product facings.
  • Manage near expired stocks on a FIFO basis.
  • Monitor pricing and inventory levels.
  • Provide pictures and pricing of competitors’ products.

Job description
  • Build good working relationship and secure orders from stores.
  • Effective communication with key store personnel on ordering, and replenishment of stocks, space buys and events.
  • Execute merchandising, display and promotion plans.
  • Ensure P.O.S. materials are well displayed.
  • Initiative to improve planogram and increase product facings for key products.
  • Propose products which are officially listed but are not carried by the store and/or products which previously delisted in the store.
  • Ensure near expired stocks on shelf are managed well and rotated on FIFO (First in First Out) basis.
  • To ensure all company products are well merchandised with ample stocks at the retail outlets.
  • Monitor pricing and inventory level.
  • Provide pictures and pricing of competitors’ products and displays.
  • Provide updates on individual display efforts and initiatives.
  • Communicate effectively with sales on all operational issues.
  • Manage and provide documentation for store returns and trade deals.
  • Ad hoc duties (eg. events and weekend roadshows) as and when required.

Requirements:

  • Secondary education.
  • At least 1 to 2 Year(s) of related working experience.
  • Required skill: Sales experience in supermarket FMCG industry.
  • Aggressive, result oriented and with high personal drive to succeed.
  • Good communication skills.
