Job Summary:

The Sales Merchandiser is responsible for recommending/taking sales orders, replenishing stocks in retail outlets and building good working relationships with stores personnel in an assigned Supermarket/minimart retail outlet. Responsible for executing distribution of listed products and execution of sales and marketing program to achieve monthly sales and category target. The candidate will also recruit promoters, attend weekly HQ meetings, and support weekend product promotions or launch events.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Daily visit to the Supermarket/Minimart outlet in an assigned area, provide excellent service, and enhance good customer relationships/rapport to secure orders for all products.
  • Ensure all agency products, especially core SKUs, are well merchandised with adequate levels of stocks at home bay according to market share or follow the planogram and all chillers and secondary displays.
  • Liaise and coordinate with external and internal staff on ordering of products.
  • Ensure prompt setup of promo display, update of all POS materials, and pricing display at the right place and in the promo window.
  • Monitor sales and implement FIFO to ensure product freshness and check on near-expired stocks regularly to minimize trade returns.
  • Provide regular feedback on the sales performance of our product, store and display issues, and competitors’ activities to Sales Representative.
  • Support Management Team in conducting distribution audit and ad hoc duties as and when required.
  • Assists in promotion/event setups (if any).
  • Provide excellent service to assigned accounts; create and maintain goodwill with all store level customers.
  • Collect market feedback.
Requirements:
  • At least 'O' or 'N' level certification
  • At least 1 year of working experience in F&B industry
  • Preferably candidates specializing in Merchandising, Sales or equivalent
  • Able to work on alternate Saturdays (5.25 days)
