Job summary

A leading producer of seasonings in Singapore is seeking a Sales & Marketing Executive/Senior Executive to manage sales and product handling of frozen products. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement processes for Modern Trade customers.
  • Lead Joint Business Planning and conduct business reviews.
  • Manage commercial negotiations to support sales agreements.
  • Conduct performance reviews and prepare reports.
  • Monitor 5P execution and resolve issues.
  • Generate insights and recommendations from analyses.
  • Manage sales reporting and forecasting.
  • Recommend improvements related to business processes.

Job description

Our Client is a Japanese-listed company and the largest producer of seasonings. The role of a Sales & Marketing Executive/Senior Executive is responsible for the sales and product handling of frozen products and seasoning. You will be reporting to the Sales Manager (HOD). Products: Frozen Products & Seasoning TSupermarket channel, Domestic Sales department.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement processes and strategies for assigned Modern Trade customers, including local go-to-market plans, sales strategies, and customer strategies, to ensure the achievement of business goals.
  • Lead Joint Business Planning (JBP) and conduct regular business reviews with customers.
  • Manage commercial negotiations, including trading terms and conditions, to support successful sales agreements with Modern Trade customers.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and prepare reports highlighting achievements, performance gaps, and improvement areas for the Head of Department.
  • Oversee and monitor 5P execution (product availability, pricing, share of shelf, etc.) and ensure timely resolution of issues by the team.
  • Generate deep insights and actionable recommendations through post-evaluation analyses.
  • Manage sales reporting and forecasting, including projected sales and margin forecasts; analyze trends to support strategic decision-making.
  • Develop, monitor, and recommend improvement initiatives related to business processes, customer service, and operational techniques.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and industry contacts to understand consumer needs and achieve business objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales Admin) to ensure efficient execution of business plans.
  • Drive product penetration and promotional initiatives, including new product launches.
  • Work closely with the Marketing team on new product listings and to support below-the-line (BTL) activities.
