A leading recruitment firm in Singapore is looking for a Sales & Marketing Executive in the Marine/Mechanical Engineering field. This role welcomes candidates with no experience as training will be provided. The ideal candidate should hold a diploma in a relevant discipline and be bilingual in English and Mandarin. Responsibilities include developing sales strategies, maintaining customer accounts, and conducting marketing presentations. The position offers an attractive salary package with benefits including performance bonuses and annual leave.

Qualifications

  • NO EXPERIENCE WELCOME - Training Provided.
  • A higher Nitec or Polytechnic diploma in any Marine/Mechanical Engineering discipline or equivalent.
  • Well-versed in all Microsoft applications, such MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Chinese clients.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a sales strategy to achieve department’s sales goals.
  • Design and implement a strategic business plan.
  • Execute Sales & Marketing Plan for programs and services.
  • Develop New Customer/Agent accounts regionally and overseas.
  • Maintain and develop Current Customer/Agent accounts.
  • Conduct Marketing Presentations and Product Demo.

Overview
  • Position: Sales & Marketing Executive (Marine/Mechanical Engineering) - NO EXP WELCOME
  • Location: Jurong Pier Road (Walking Distance (8 minutes) to Jurong Pier MRT Station)
  • Working hours: 5 days a week; Monday - Friday 8.30 - 5.30
  • Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $5500 + AWS + Performance Bonus + 14 days Annual Leave + Insurance + $600 claimable medical
  • Duration: Permanent
  • Industry: Building and repairing of ships, tankers and other ocean-going vessels
Main Responsibilities
  • Develop a sales strategy to achieve department’s sales goals and revenues
  • Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands department’s customer base and ensures its strong presence
  • Execute Sales & Marketing Plan of company’s range of Programs, Products and Services
  • Develop New Customer/Agent accounts regionally and overseas
  • Maintain and develop Current Customer/Agent accounts
  • Sales Visitations to Customers/Agents regionally and overseas to support department goals and achieve sales performance targets
  • Conduct Marketing Presentations and Product Demo to prospective Customers/Agents
  • Attend and follow-up on Sales Enquiries
  • Preparing Quotation / Proposals to Customers/Agents
  • Conduct Training, Assessment and Inspection on board vessels
  • Work closely with Customers to assess product and service application needs and to determine Technical Requirements
  • Work closely with manufacturers, service providers and technical team to provide Technical Support to the customers
  • Preparation of Technical & Commercial Proposals/Reports
Requirements

  • A higher Nitec or Polytechnic diploma in any Marine/Mechanical Engineering discipline or equivalent
  • Well-versed in all Microsoft applications, such MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Chinese clients who can converse in Mandarin only.
