Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales/Marketing Engineer with a background in Electrical Engineering to promote and sell our products/services. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between technical solutions and customer needs, working closely with engineering and business teams to deliver value-driven proposals and build long-term customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Identify and target new business opportunities in assigned territories or sectors.
- Generate and follow up on leads, inquiries, and RFQs (Requests for Quotations).
- Visit clients (industrial plants, utilities, EPCs, consultants) to present technical solutions.
- Achieve or exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
Technical Support
- Provide technical guidance and product presentations to customers.
- Prepare and deliver accurate technical/commercial proposals and quotations.
- Liaise with engineering and production teams to ensure feasibility and timelines.
Marketing & Promotion
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote products and solutions.
- Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events.
- Create and manage marketing content, brochures, presentations, and case studies.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Provide after-sales support and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Gather feedback and relay customer needs for product improvement.
Market Analysis
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments.
- Report on market intelligence and suggest strategic responses.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering (or related field).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in technical sales or marketing (preferably in the electrical industry).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Willingness to travel as required.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of industry standards (IEC, IEEE, NEC, etc.).
- Prior experience working with industrial, utility, or OEM clients
