A leading food products supplier in Singapore seeks an experienced sales professional to develop and implement strategies for Modern Trade customers. The ideal candidate should have a degree in Sales/Marketing, 2-3 years of experience in FMCG sales, and strong selling skills. Key responsibilities include managing customer negotiations, conducting performance reviews, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. This position requires excellent communication and relationship-building abilities to meet business objectives.

Location: Central/ South
Develop and implement processes and strategies (local go-to-market strategies, sales strategies, and customer strategies) for assigned Modern Trade customers to ensure achievement of business goals.
Drive Joint Business Planning (JBP) and conduct regular business reviews with customers.
Manage negotiations, including trading terms and conditions, to facilitate sales agreements with assigned Modern Trade customers.
Conduct regular performance reviews and prepare reports to provide feedback on achievements, performance gaps, and improvement requirements to the Head of Department.
Manage and monitor 5P execution performance (availability, pricing, share of shelf, etc.) and ensure issues are resolved promptly by the team.
Develop deep insights and actionable recommendations through post-evaluation analyses.
Manage sales reporting and forecast submissions, including projected sales and margin forecasts; evaluate trends and derive meaningful conclusions to support strategic decision-making.
Develop, monitor, and recommend improvement initiatives related to business processes, customer service, and new techniques.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and a network of contacts to understand consumer needs and achieve business objectives.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales Admin) to ensure efficient and effective execution of business plans.
Drive product penetration and promotional activities, including new product launches.
Work closely with the marketing team on new product listings and to support BTL activities.
Degree in Sales/Marketing, or related fields is preferred
Minimum 2 ~ 3 years in Sales of FMCG/Modern Trade background
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong team-oriented mindset when working with customers and colleagues.
Strong selling skills with proven key account management experience, including dealing directly with Buyers in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector.
Good understanding of supplier and customer relationship management, including supply chain, field marketing, and branding.
