A logistics company in Singapore is seeking an experienced professional to develop new business leads within the Project Logistics sector. The ideal candidate should have a diploma or degree in Sales, Logistics, or related fields and at least 5 years of experience in project logistics or solutions sales. Job description
Responsibilities:
  • Source, develop, and win new business leads within the Project Logistics sector (heavy lift, oversized cargo, time-sensitive projects), especially involving heavy machinery, marine parts, engines, and complex cargo.
  • Establish and maintain strong professional rapport with existing accounts to develop long term sustainable repeat business opportunities.
  • Hunt for potential customers and register opportunities to provide value added logistics solutions which lead to revenue for company.
  • Prepare and negotiate pricing, proposals, contracts, and SLAs for project deals.
  • Responsible for achieving individual sales target and revenue growth.
  • Oversee sales pipeline, including responding to RFQs, tenders, and requests for information.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as operations, logistics and finance teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Recommend suitable logistics services or solutions in tandem with overall corporate directions and strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with HPL Occupational Health & Safety Management and Quality Management Systems.
  • Keep abreast of project logistics developing trends and gather market intelligence to develop appropriate sales strategies.
Requirements:
  • Diploma/Degree in Sales, Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Strong market knowledge in Project Logistics.
  • Minimum 5 years’ demonstrated experience in project logistics, supply chain, or solutions sales (with sector focus preferred: energy, infrastructure, industrial, marine).
  • Proven track record in developing business, winning new accounts, and maintaining high service standards in a project environment.
  • Excellent consultative selling, presentation, and communication skills; adept at influencing stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
