A leading marketing firm in Singapore is seeking a Sales Manager to drive sales strategies within the modern trade channel. The ideal candidate will have a diploma or bachelor’s degree in business or marketing, and at least 5 years of relevant sales experience. Job Summary

Reporting to the Executive Director of the Company, the Sales Manager is responsible for supporting the execution of sales strategies within the modern trade channel (supermarkets, hypermarkets, and key accounts). The role focuses on achieving sales targets, managing key accounts, ensuring visibility and availability of products, and building strong relationships with modern trade partners. This position involves supervising and managing 5 merchandisers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Key account management for fresh produce - vegetables / fruits for key modern trade partners (e.g. supermarkets, hypermarkets, and retail chains).
  • Deliver sales volume to meet targeted sales growth, inclusive but not limited to upselling new or existing fresh produce to existing or potential customers.
  • Preparing of tenders and negotiate with key accounts to secure tenders.
  • To proactively identify and develop win-win sales relationship with new and potential customers.
  • Offer effective pricing to win the new business and sustain profitable growth.
  • Track and analyze performance against targets, and propose actionable insights to improve results.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key account managers, store managers, and category teams.
  • Co-ordinate and maintain good communication and working relationship with internal departments to deliver quality service to customers.
Requirements
  • Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in sales, preferably in modern trade or FMCG/Retail sector.
