Job description

Basic Salary: $4,500 – $6,500 (Commensurate with experience) + Commissions + Variable Bonuses

Working hours: Monday‑Friday, 8.30am‑5.30pm

Our Client

The company is a Marine Communication Equipment and Service Provider based in Singapore, providing marine electronic equipment and marine communication integration solutions for offshore vessels arriving in Singapore or around the Asia region.

They are currently seeking a passionate Sales Manager to join their big family and to work closely with the engineering team to support both pre‑ and post‑sales activities, ensuring the successful delivery of telecommunication solutions to commercial marine and offshore vessels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop sales strategies for satellite airtime services aligned with business goals
  • Engage customers to understand needs and propose tailored solutions
  • Prepare and present proposals with support from the Product Manager
  • Provide pre‑ and post‑sales support to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Coordinate with technical teams for efficient system delivery
  • Maintain client relationships and handle inquiries with the Network Support team
  • Support business execution and assist with ad‑hoc duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunication or Electrical Engineering
  • 4 to 8 years of relevant experience with a strong track record in sales performance
  • Established sales network within the marine industry and knowledge of maritime satellite services is a strong advantage
  • Background as a Radio Officer is considered an added benefit
  • Strong customer relationships with ship owners and managers are highly desirable
  • Excellent business acumen, with strong communication and presentation skills
