Position Details
- Position: Sales Manager (Marine/Lubricant/Coating)
- Location: West (Tuas - transport provided from Tuas Link MRT), office to shift to Tuas West next year
- Working hours: 5 days, Monday to Friday (8.30am to 5.30pm)
- Salary (commensurate on experience): Up to $6500 + AWS + Variable Bonus + OT + Medical
- Duration: Permanent

Main Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and market share targets in the India marine market.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and negotiate contracts in line with company policies.
- Identify new business opportunities with shipyards, vessel owners, ship management companies, and marine service providers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners.
- Conduct regular customer visits and product presentations to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Gather feedback from customers and the field to support product improvement and innovation.
- Participate in marine exhibitions, trade shows, and industry events to promote the company's brand and products.
- Collaborate with product management and marketing teams to develop tailored solutions for the marine market.
- Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and performance analyses for management review.
- Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions and opportunities using CRM tools.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing structures, and credit controls.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marine Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the marine industry (equipment, lubricants, coatings, spare parts, or marine services).
- Proven track record in B2B sales and business development within India's marine sector.
- Strong network of contacts within shipyards, ports, and marine service companies.
- Willing to travel to India when required.
