Overview

Job Description:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve or exceed assigned targets.
  • Identify key differentiators and work with internal teams to support customer acquisition and retention.
  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline to secure new business opportunities.
  • Establish and maintain strong customer relationships at various levels.
  • Drive initiatives that create added value and long-term partnerships with customers.
  • Turn potential opportunities into actionable business plans.
  • Monitor market trends, demand, and competitors to maintain optimal sales volume, product mix, and pricing.
  • Maximize gross profit by adjusting pricing based on cost, competition, and market conditions.
  • Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Prepare SOPs for newly secured customers and brief operational teams to ensure process clarity.
  • Assist in resolving customer service issues when required.
  • Update sales activities in Salesforce for accurate and timely reporting.
  • Work with marketing and admin teams to develop and utilize customer-related materials and collateral.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the reporting manager.
Requirements
  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Sales, or an equivalent field is preferred
  • 5 to 8 years in sales positions in the Logistics or Freight Forwarding industry is preferred
  • Looking for hunter role person with ready clientele to bring in.
  • Proven experience in business development and strategic account management
  • Strong market knowledge in freight forwarding, supply chain solutions, preferably with specialization in certain industry verticals
