A leading construction materials company in Singapore is looking for a Sales Manager. The role involves sales of scaffolding materials, managing customer relationships, and preparing technical presentations. Ideal candidates will have a background in the construction industry and excellent negotiation skills. Training is provided for those without specific scaffolding knowledge.
Sales of construction and scaffolding materials
Establishing new, and maintain existing relationships with customers
Managing customer requirements
Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products or services to existing and prospective customers
Prepare client quotations and tenders (rental/sales/projects)
Negotiate contracts
Administering client accounts and follow up closely for payment status
Liaise with other members of the sales team and other technical experts
Discuss with customers and engineers to assess equipment needs and to determine system requirements
Plan and arrange products to meet customer needs.
Proven experience as a Sales Manager or Executive, preferably in the construction, scaffolding, or building materials industry.
Knowledge of scaffolding products and their applications in construction projects preferred but not a must. Training will be provided.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work with a team and collaboratively across departments.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
A results-oriented mindset with the ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
