Sales Manager (Client Partner)

Oysterly Media is an award‑winning, fast‑growing short‑form video agency working with some of the world’s most recognised brands. A rare opportunity has opened to join our team for a Sales Manager to help grow our client base and partnerships.

We’re looking for a commercially minded Sales Manager (internally known as a Client Partner) who knows how to open doors, build trust with senior clients, and turn relationships into long‑term growth.

You enjoy the challenge of new business. You’re comfortable hearing “no”, confident picking up the phone, and resilient enough to keep going until the right “yes” lands.

The role

This is a hunter‑led role with a meaningful farming component.

You’ll be responsible for winning new clients while also nurturing a small number of high‑potential relationships to drive repeat work and expansion.

You will stay close enough to key accounts to spot growth opportunities early and build senior‑level trust.

Internally at Oysterly Media, this role operates as a Client Partner owning commercial growth across both new and existing relationships.

What you’ll be responsible for
New business and pipeline growth
  • Identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities aligned to Oysterly Media’s ideal clients (enterprise brands, universities, global organisations).
Lead discovery calls, pitch meetings, and proposal development
  • Clearly articulate Oysterly Media’s value across social video, social search, UGC, and employee‑generated content.
Own the sales process from first conversation through to signed agreement
  • Build strong relationships with senior marketers and decision‑makers.
  • Partner closely with the Founder and leadership team on strategic opportunities and warm introductions.
Strategic account growth and relationships
  • Maintain senior relationships across a small portfolio of high‑value accounts.
Stay involved post‑sale to ensure momentum, confidence, and long‑term trust
  • Identify upsell, cross‑sell, and expansion opportunities (new markets, formats, channels, or retainers).
Re‑engage past or dormant clients
  • Convert strong relationships into repeat work, referrals, testimonials, and case studies.
  • Act as a commercial partner alongside the account leadership team.

  • A consistent, high‑quality new business pipeline.
  • Strong conversion from pitch to close.
  • Clients that are the right fit for Oysterly Media.
  • Existing accounts are growing year‑on‑year.
  • Repeat work and referrals are becoming a reliable revenue stream.

Experience we’re looking for
  • 5–8+ years in sales, new business, growth, or partnerships roles (publisher or media experience strongly preferred).
  • Proven track record of winning and closing new clients.
  • Strong understanding of social media, short‑form video, and modern digital marketing.
  • Experience working with mid‑to‑large brands or enterprise clients.
  • Comfortable navigating longer sales cycles and multi‑stakeholder deals.
