What You\'ll Be Doing

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our automotive sales team. This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth, enhancing customer experience, and ensuring operational excellence. You will be responsible for team leadership, performance management, customer satisfaction, and strategic collaboration across departments.

Team Leadership & Development
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve targets and deliver outstanding customer service.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture through regular coaching and performance appraisals.
Sales Performance & Operations
  • Lead the team to meet company KPIs and sales budgets, including trade-in, finance, and insurance targets.
  • Monitor performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement effective action plans.
  • Manage stock holdings to optimise capital investment and reduce ageing inventory.
Customer Experience & Relationship Management
  • Drive improvements in retail customer experience to meet principal’s NPS targets.
  • Resolve customer complaints and disputes promptly to maintain satisfaction and protect brand reputation.
Sales Process & Compliance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance sales processes and productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to senior management and principal.
Training & Market Awareness
  • Stay updated on automotive trends and competitor activities.
  • Provide ongoing training to enhance salesmanship and product knowledge.
Sales Strategy & Marketing Collaboration
  • Work with the marketing team to develop campaigns that increase lead generation and conversion rates.
  • Negotiate within authorised trading limits to improve profitability.
Who We\'re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience in sales leadership within the automotive industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with a track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with automotive operations, sales planning, and product management.
