Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Manager to lead our sales initiatives. The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth, establishing strategic partnerships, and collaborating with a team of sales professionals. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of sales experience with exposure to the market, a Diploma qualification, and a background in Educational and Training services.
Key Responsibilities
- Reports to Director of Sales and Marketing
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and relationship building.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, understanding their needs and delivering customized solutions.
- Lead, coach, and motivate a team of sales professionals, providing guidance and support to drive performance and exceed targets.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, including marketing, operations, and product development, to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to inform strategic decisions and identify growth opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and reports to senior management and clients.
Qualifications
- Diploma/ Degree qualification in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive sales experience, with a proven track record of success in a regional capacity, preferably within the Educational and Training sector.
- Strong understanding of the market landscape and dynamics.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team to achieve targets.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively.
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and driving business growth.
