Job summary

A leading food company in Singapore is seeking a professional to oversee logistics operations, ensure quality control, and support sales initiatives. The role involves coordinating daily schedules, supervising deliveries, and collaborating with the sales team to achieve set targets in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assign and communicate daily schedule for local logistics.
  • Review of daily progress on sale and in the warehouse.
  • Provide supervision of all departmental activities.
  • Keep capacity management for internal and external customers.
  • Supervise the received deliveries and ensure appropriate storage location of goods.
  • Receive incoming shipments and deliveries and verify for accuracy of quantity and quality.
  • Verify sort food items according to their type properly.
  • Check the packing of food products and ensure correct proportions.
  • Preparation and handling of day-to-day documents for delivery and receiving of goods.
  • Understand delivery instructions from director and packing requirements.
  • Monitor quality and quantity of food items and inspect for defects.
  • Support regional sales team on supplier and material sourcing.
  • Determine annual unit and gross-profit plans by implementing marketing strategies.
  • Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas.
  • Actively work towards meeting the company's sales targets.
  • Promote the increase of purchases from existing customers.
  • Organize sales/account management meetings with customers or prospects.
  • Support the development of strategies and marketing materials.

  • Check the packing of food products by mixing up of various combinations and proportions of spices which could bring a good quality and flavour of masala powders and various spices powders are in correct proportion.
  • Preparation and handling of day-to-day documents for delivery and receiving of goods.
  • Understand delivery instructions from director and packing requirements by customers.
  • Monitor quality and quantity of food items. Inspecting stock items for defects and report to management.
  • Support regional sales team on supplier and material sourcing by identifying and qualifying new supplier and material
  • Determine annual unit and gross-profit plans by implementing marketing strategies
  • Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products
  • Actively working towards meeting the company's sales targets by sourcing and securing new sales
  • promoting the increase of purchases from existing customers
  • To effectively organize sales/ account management meetings with customers or prospects.
  • Support the development of strategies, plans, and marketing materials to promote the company's business,
