A dynamic SaaS startup in Singapore is seeking a motivated Sales Manager who can both sell and build their sales strategies. In this hands-on role, you will acquire SME merchants, run full-cycle sales processes, and create your own sales materials. The ideal candidate has SaaS sales experience and is comfortable working independently. MarlinX Technologies Pte. Ltd. is a Singapore-based SaaS startup building a next-generation AI Marketing & Membership OS for offline SMEs (F&B, beauty, retail, and services).
Our product helps merchants automate marketing and ordering.
We are looking for a strong Sales Manager who can both sell and build.
This is not a “presentation-only” sales role.
This is for a hands‑on closer who can sell, create structure, and build the sales engine for an early‑stage SaaS product.
You will:
✔ run full‑cycle sales
✔ build GTM materials & playbooks
✔ shape ICP, pricing, and merchant onboarding
✔ work directly with the Founder
✔ help scale merchant acquisition from 0 → meaningful revenue
Solid base + high commission.
Acquire SME merchants (F&B, beauty, retail, wellness, services) through network, outreach, and walk‑ins
Run complete sales cycle: prospect → pitch → demo → ROI → proposal → negotiation → close → handover
Achieve monthly sign‑ups and revenue targets
Own your pipeline, CRM, and weekly forecast
You will independently create and improve:
Sales pitch, scripts, and objection handling
Sales decks (Canva / Figma)
Merchant ROI calculator
Sales workflows (first touch → trial → activation → conversion)
Merchant onboarding checklist
GTM launch plans for different industries (F&B / beauty / retail)
You are someone who doesn’t wait for marketing — you build your own materials.
Identify high‑value merchant segments
Help refine pricing, promos, and bundles
Provide insights to improve product‑market fit
Work closely with Founder on activation, renewal, and account retention
Have real experience selling SaaS or solutions to SMEs in Singapore
Are comfortable doing walk‑ins and talking directly to business owners
Can design your own sales materials
Have SME networks (F&B / beauty / retail preferred)
Are disciplined with CRM, numbers, and follow‑ups
Want to help build the sales structure of an early‑stage SaaS
Operate independently, without corporate support
Prefer base + strong commissions
Can learn and use AI tools
Base salary + strong performance incentives
