A leading automation systems provider in Singapore is seeking a sales professional to drive marketing initiatives and enhance client relationships. This role demands expertise in industrial or engineering products, along with strong communication skills to deliver detailed technical advice. Responsibilities include conducting presentations and developing sales strategies for the ASEAN market.
i.) To devise and implement sales and marketing programs.
ii.) To promote/or sell industrial or engineering products/equipment/services where the ability to give detailed technical advice on functions/methods of operation is essential.
iii.) To organize and conduct presentations to potential and existing customers.
iv.) To attend to sales inquiries and generation of quotations.
v.) To evaluate sales potential and develop sales programs for assigned territory.
vi.) To locate and develop specific areas opportunities and plan specific sales approaches.
vii.) To research emerging industrial, technological trends, potential customers, competitors.
viii.) To develop and implement market penetration strategies to maximize business opportunities.
ix.) To develop, maintain customer base (primary markets include Singapore, ASEAN, and East Asia).
x.) To work closely with customers in the development of applications to meet customers’ needs.
xi.) To prepare sales budget and sales report.
xii.) To secure sales as determined by sales budget.
xiii.) To follow up with sales collections.
xiv.) To liaise and coordinate after-sales maintenance.
v. to be in-charged of promotion and advertising activities and materials (development of company profile, product brochures, trade exhibitions, product launches, advertisements, etc).
xvi.) To liaise with staff, customers, distributors, and suppliers about sales, marketing, delivery, quality matters.
xvii.) To forecast operating costs of the department and direct preparation of budget requests.
xviii.) To perform direct personnel activities of department such as recruitment, hiring, performance evaluations, training, staff counseling, and grievance;
xix.) To liaise and coordinate with R&D, Purchasing and Manufacturing departments, customers, suppliers about the project, quality, and delivery matters;
xx.) To give suggestions to the Company on how to improve all assigned tasks with regards to efficiency and effectiveness of the same
