Overview

As a Sales Manager, your primary responsibility will be to Lead, Guide, Mentor & Grow the Sales Team to support and meet Company & Business Unit Sales Targets. You will proactively liaise, develop relationships and influence customers to maintain strong long-term relationships with clients, ensuring client satisfaction at the highest level. You will also provide regular reporting on potential sales leads, sales quotation updates and sales forecast to the management team. Experience in ESD is a plus, and you will guide the ESD Team by attending meetings with clients and project teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, Guide, Mentor & Grow the Sales Team to support and meet Company & Business Unit Sales Targets.
  • Work with HR to provide or source suitable internal/external training.
  • Involve in appraisal of Sales Team Members.
  • Involve in interviews of potential hiring candidates.
  • Establish new and maintain existing relationships with clients; be proactive to build and maintain strong long-term relationships and ensure client satisfaction at the highest level.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market presence.
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline by identifying and qualifying new leads, nurturing existing opportunities, and closing deals.
  • Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry regulations to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with project and engineering teams to develop customized solutions that align with clients\' needs and objectives; prepare comprehensive proposals with quotations outlining recommended strategies and projected energy savings.
  • Analyse, strategize & organise the preparations for tender submissions.
  • Collaborate with internal project and engineering teams to ensure proper handover and seamless implementation of proposed solutions; provide ongoing support to clients throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and project milestones; generate regular reports on sales performance, revenue forecasts, and key metrics to management stakeholders.
Guide & Mentor ESD Team
  • Be familiar with the new Green Mark Rating Versions & Requirements.
  • Attend client and project meetings with the ESD Team.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
  • At least 3 years working experience in sales.
  • Proven track record of success in B2B sales, with a focus on sustainability, energy-saving solutions or HVAC systems.
  • Strong technical aptitude and understanding of HVAC systems, sustainability, energy management principles, and building codes/regulations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Enjoys meeting with people.
  • Proactive, possess a positive attitude and able to work independently.
