Overview

Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts in the SATCOM equipment and devices sector. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the SATCOM industry, a proven track record in B2B technical sales, and the ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing key accounts, and expanding our market presence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve and exceed revenue targets for SATCOM hardware, including VSAT terminals, antennas, modems, routers, and related devices.
  • Identify, prospect, and cultivate relationships with new clients across target verticals (e.g., shipping companies, airlines, telecom carriers, system integrators, government contractors).
  • Manage and grow existing strategic accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and identifying upselling/cross-selling opportunities.
  • Lead the entire sales cycle from lead generation and qualification to proposal development, negotiation, and contract closure.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our product portfolio and the competitive landscape to effectively articulate value propositions and differentiators.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product Management, and Engineering teams to align sales strategies with product roadmaps and market needs.
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and market intelligence for senior management.
  • Attend and represent the company at key industry trade shows, conferences, and client meetings.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior sales team members, fostering a high-performance culture.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related technical field. MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of proven B2B sales experience, with at least 3 years specifically selling SATCOM equipment, VSAT systems, or closely related telecommunications hardware.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding annual sales quotas in a competitive market.
  • Strong existing network of contacts within the SATCOM, maritime, aviation, or defence industries.
  • Excellent understanding of SATCOM technology, network architectures, and key industry trends.
  • Superior negotiation, presentation, and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 40-50%.
  • Self-motivated, strategic thinker with strong problem-solving abilities.
