A leading logistics company in Singapore is looking for a Logistics Coordinator to oversee sales logistics activities, ensuring smooth processes and coordination with both internal and external stakeholders. Candidates should have a minimum diploma and be proficient in MS Excel, with related logistics experience preferred. This is a full-time role with a five-day work week.

Job Summary

This position primarily manages and ensures smooth sales logistics activities and processes that is in accordance with the requirements and standards of the Company, providing full support to the Sales team. As an independent team player with good communication and interpersonal skills in problem solving, this position handles all sales orders and the delivery processes which includes coordination with the respective internal and external stakeholders, preparation of necessary documentation, and other relevant duties in ensuring a smooth logistics flow.

Primary Relationships

This position reports directly to the Sales Logistics Manager and indirectly to the Deputy Managing Director. Within the organization, this position has primary working relationships with the other members of the Sales Logistics team, Warehouse, Finance and Sales Teams.

Outside the organization, this position coordinates with the authorities and government agencies such as SFA/NEA as well as freight forwarders, local transporters and suppliers.

Job Descriptions
  • Manage Logistics processes through coordinating with internal departments and external suppliers.
  • Handle all orders including export orders and arrange Export shipments.
  • Ensure smooth order process flow from start to end. Resolve issues, if any.
  • Coordinate closely with warehouse team for all Export shipment preparation. (i.e. FCL/LCL loading/pick up, process/making manual labelling onto product prior to delivery)
  • Expedite Full set of shipping documentation including manual Invoices/Packing lists, Bill of Lading, COO, Form D/E and Health Cert/Phyto Cert with Authorities.
  • Work closely with Sales Team, Finance Team (receipt of payments) and Warehouse Team.
  • Provide logistics information or administrative assistance to sales team as necessary
  • Follow-up on all deliveries processes
  • Additional functions as mandated by the Management or supervisor
Requirements
  • Minimum Diploma holders
  • Candidate must be able to commit full-time for a minimum period of six months.
  • Proficient in MS Excel & basic Words (PC Literate, Excel skills. ie. VLOOKUP, Pivot table)
  • Prior logistics experience in Order Processing, Shipping Documentation, Coordination Skills, and some L/C experience is preferred.
  • Independent and Pleasant Personality with Positive Attitude.
  • Team player with good Communication and Interpersonal Skills in solving issues.
  • 5 days’ work week
