Position: Sales Executive/Assistant Manager (Japanese speaking) - CK
Responsibilities
- Manage assigned Japan customer accounts, support sales quotations and proposals, coordinate and monitor deliveries, follow up on invoicing and payment.
- Support business development activities to actively engage customers and respond promptly to inquiries.
- Conduct market survey and regularly screen market- and customer-related press releases to provide timely Japan market intelligence and trends to the company.
- Communicate and coordinate closely with sales, procurement, operations teams in Singapore and Vietnam offices of company to meet deliverables to customers.
- Work as a tag team with Technical Support Manager of Japan to comprehensively address commercial and technical needs of customers.
- Actively propose and explore new business opportunities and offer new business ideas.
- Support in organizing and making preparations for trade shows and exhibitions in Japan.
- Arrange business meetings for visits by Sales and Business Development team members from HQ.
- Translate or proof-read AI-translated documents such as contracts, marketing collaterals, product specifications, between English and Japanese. Other tasks assigned by Direct Supervisor or work related to overseas customers should the job holder express interest to support.
Requirements
- Business level proficiency in written and spoken English to liaise with counterparts in Singapore
- Energetic and jovial personality
- At least 2 to 3 years work experience in a corporate environment
- Sales, marketing, customer service, international trade (import/export) experience
- Passion and interest in cutting edge technology, and using it to better lives of people
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and Google Workspace tools
