Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience in commodity sales, more than 5 years preferred.
  • Willing to travel overseas and attend events.
  • Knowledge and understanding of incoterms required.

Job Description
  • Export Sales and Trading of wood related products
  • To Develop new market and managing existing customers
  • To Develop new supplier and managing existing suppliers
  • Prepare Sales Contract and Purchase order
  • Ensure compliance to legal requirements for exports and internal policies, and export procedures.
  • Monitor export sales transactions and review all customer responses for sales orders and payments.
  • Present recommendations for problem solving and continuous improvement
  • Resolve customer issues for export processes and procedures, collaborate with customers to ensure smooth functioning of our export processes and requirements.
  • Execute and grow business on strategy and plan set by Manager
  • Increase sales revenue and gain market share across market segments
  • Collaborate with sales teams to improve and leverage relationships/opportunities
  • Provide and update reports to Sales Management as required
  • Conduct business trips to expand their businesses
Job Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in commodity sales is a plus, more than 5 years is a great advantage
  • Willingness and flexibility to attend weekend and night events
  • Willing to travel overseas
  • Meet volume & profit targets set by leadership and provide insight to margin management department
  • Knowledge of International shipping is a plus
  • In-depth sales experience, preferably with medium and large clients
  • Well organized, industrious, creative and self-sufficient
  • Requires good teaming and negotiation skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of incoterms.
