The successful candidate will:
Be responsible for maximizing Murata sales opportunities by promoting product growth and account direction for assigned accounts. Position is accountable for emerging core business creation.
Targeted customers are in IC/Semiconductor customers. Analysing customer segmentation and competitor landscape, candidate develops sales strategies.
He/she is responsible for generating new business opportunities, building relationships with prospective clients. This role required proactive outreach, excellent communication skills and strategic mindset to expand business opportunity.
He/she is an action-oriented, able to multi-task, organized, collaborative, and adaptable individual capable of interacting well with internal and external stakeholders.
Develop and implement business plans to increase business opportunities for the assigned customers/team. Demonstrates initiative in identifying new opportunities and converting them into actual sales.
Execute design activities of reference design in IC/Semiconductor customers. Align with internal Product Team to conduct sales promotion activities to prospective and existing customers.
Build and maintain strong relationship with potential and existing clients. Continue to conduct business meetings and customer visitations.
Business performance review. Support customers' technical & business enquiries.
Enhance products and technical knowledge and at the same time stay up to date with industry and market trends and conditions.
To perform IC marketing activities to identify trends and target business.
Co-work with internal stakeholders and external business partners (Design House/System Integrator/Gov Agency) to derive business plan for existing/new markets.
Drive and influence the promotion activity in OEM customers of target market and application through global IC reference design activity.
Undertake other MARCOM and Marketing Support group activities.
Bachelor degree in Business Administration / Electrical & Electronics Engineering related field.
Minimum 2-3 years’ experience of in B2B Sales experience, preferably in IC/Semiconductor industry.
Positive attitude in challenging work environment.
Proactive and persistent mindset.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to perform multi-tasking.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
Ability to analyse data, prepare reports and presentation.
Good interpersonal skills to work with internal and external stakeholders.
