Job summary

A leading food and beverage company in Singapore is seeking a dynamic Sales Team Leader with strong leadership skills and FMCG experience. The role includes managing customer relationships, ensuring compliance with processes, and facilitating growth in sales. Ideal candidates will have a Diploma in Business and 3-4 years of supervisory experience, along with a valid Class 3 Driving License and own vehicle.

Qualifications

  • 3 to 4 years of supervisory experience in FMCG or related field.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Must possess own vehicle (car) with a valid Class 3 Driving License.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and ensure discipline, process and routine are adhered to within the team.
  • Lead through feedback, coaching and act as an advisor, motivator & trainer to the Sales Team.
  • Ensure proper implementation and maintain high standards for execution.
  • Vertical growth of current customers by route-riding with Sales Representatives.
  • Horizontal growth of assigned area through new business acquisition.

Job Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the following channels:

    • On premise, Minimart and Provision (Independent & Key Accounts)
    • Wholesales/Distributors
    • Food Services
    • Events
  • Implement and ensure discipline, process and routine are adhered to within the team
  • Lead through feedback, coaching and act as an advisor, motivator & trainer to the Sales Team
  • Ensure proper implementation and maintain high standards for execution
  • Vertical growth of current customers by route-riding with the Sales Representatives
  • Horizontal growth of assigned area through new business acquisition by conducting regular market visits
  • Stand in as a replacement when Sales Representative is on leave
  • Gather market intelligence through regular engagement and building strong relationship with customers such as attending outlet openings, etc.
  • Responsible to ensure Accounts Receivable collection and to maintain a healthy collection period
  • Attend to customer complaints
  • Any other ad-hoc duties
Job Requirement
  • At least a Diploma in Business or its equivalent
  • 3 to 4 years of supervisory experience in FMCG or related field
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Must possess own vehicle (car) with a valid Class 3 Driving License
