Job Title: Sales Executive (Food Industry – HORECA / West)

Employment Type: Permanent, 5-day work week
Compensation: Basic Salary + Transportation Allowance + Incentives + AWS
Note: Prior experience in HORECA is mandatory.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Planning
- Develop and execute sales strategies tailored to HORECA channels.
- Create targeted sales plans based on buyer segmentation and market trends.
- Monitor sales channels, analyze competitor activity, and identify market opportunities.
- Track performance metrics and recommend improvements to drive growth.
Business Development
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the HORECA sector.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of leads and prospects.
- Develop acquisition plans to onboard new customers and expand market share.
- Collaborate with marketing to support promotional campaigns and product launches.
Account Management
- Understand customer needs and present tailored sales proposals.
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure.
- Ensure timely follow-up and resolution of customer inquiries and issues.
- Monitor payment collections and maintain account health.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build long-term relationships with key accounts and decision-makers.
- Implement customer retention strategies and loyalty programs.
- Leverage CRM tools to track interactions and improve customer experience.
- Use feedback and data insights to support product development and service enhancements.
Operational Excellence
- Coordinate with internal teams (supply chain, finance, warehouse) to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
- Maintain accurate sales records and prepare regular reports for management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Participate in trade shows, industry events, and customer visits as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum Polytechnic Diploma or bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field.
- At least 3–5 years of experience in FMCG sales, with proven success in the HORECA segment.
- Strong understanding of foodservice operations and customer buying behaviour.
- Proficient in sales planning, forecasting, and performance analysis.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and digital sales tools.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize effectively.
- Possess a valid driver’s license/motorcycle driving license and willing to travel locally
