A recruitment firm is seeking a Sales Executive focused on business development within the shipping and freight industry in Singapore. Your role will involve procuring new clients and maintaining long-lasting relationships. You should have at least 1 year of relevant experience and be proficient in outbound sales strategies. A competitive gross salary of up to $5,000 plus performance bonuses is offered.

Position : Sales Executive (Business Development / Shipping/Freight) -Up to $5000

Location : Tanjong Penjuru

Working hours : 5 days work week; Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:30pm

Salary (commensurate with experience) : Gross salary Up to $5,000+ Performance Bonus

Duration : Permanent

Industry : SHIPPING AGENCIES (FREIGHT)

Main Responsibilities:
  • Procuring new clients through direct contact, word-of-mouth, and through existing contacts.
  • Running outbound campaigns (phone calls, emails, etc.) to create sales opportunities
  • Identifying and researching opportunities that come up in new and existing markets
  • Developing and presenting proposals customized for each client’s specific business needs
  • Communicating with clients to understand their needs and offer solutions to their problems
  • Develop a strategy to follow up with leads and determine new opportunities to pursue
  • Preparing and delivering pitches and presentations to potential new clients
  • Reviewing clients' feedback and implementing necessary changes.
  • Creating positive, long-lasting relationships with current and potential clients
  • Ensuring excellent customer service through regular client follow up
  • Translating proposals into ready-to-sign contracts
  • Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
  • Maintaining meaningful relationships with existing clients to ensure that they are retained.
