Qualifications

Job Summary

The Sales Executive is responsible for achieving the company’s sales targets by expanding the customer base and managing customer and agent relationships with professionalism. The role requires strong commercial awareness, consistent market engagement, and the ability to build trusted partnerships that support sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Business and Customer Development
  • Expand the customer database through targeted prospecting
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities
  • Promote the company’s full range of import and export services
  • Strengthen and grow existing customer relationships by increasing trade volumes
  • Conduct regular customer visits in line with weekly and monthly objectives
  • Maintain accurate and updated customer profiles to support ongoing engagement
  • Review weekly customer service outreach to ensure timely follow up and effective lead conversion
  • Ensure committed service levels are consistently delivered to all existing customers
  • Prepare a monthly sales plan and review it with the sales team
  • Conduct market research to build a strong understanding of market conditions, competitors, and pricing
Operational Responsibilities
  • Prepare timely and competitive quotations based on customer requirements
  • Manage fluctuations in customer volumes and take timely action to recover any declining accounts
  • Plan and implement structured sales campaigns
  • Guide and support the customer service team with customer information and follow up actions
  • Prepare monthly sales performance reports and present them during sales review meetings
